Followire is operated by Excelism Techno Solutions Private Limited. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who can see it, and how to remove it. It is written to match what the software actually does.
What we collect
Followire collects what you give it — your profile, the people you connect to, and the things you choose to share — along with what the app needs in order to work. We collect nothing we do not need, and nothing that is not used to run the service for you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We do not show advertising, and there are no advertising trackers in the app.
- We do not record the audio or video of your calls.
- We do not track your location. The city on your profile is text you type, and the app does not read your device’s GPS.
- We do not read your phone’s contacts.
Who can see your information
Only people connected to you, and only as far as the audience you chose. Messages are visible to the people in that conversation. Posts are visible to the audience you selected when posting. Your profile visibility is your own setting.
Permissions the app asks for
- Microphone — voice calls and voice notes.
- Camera — video calls, and taking a photo to share.
- Photos and media — attaching pictures you choose, and saving pictures you download.
- Notifications — telling you about calls and messages.
Each is requested when it is first needed. The app continues to work without the ones you decline; you lose only that feature.
How long we keep it
Your content stays until you delete it, or until you delete your account. Stories are removed automatically when they expire.
Your rights
You can see and correct your information in the app at any time, and you can delete your account and its content yourself — see deleting your account.
Security
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit, and call media is encrypted by WebRTC. Access to data is enforced per row in the database, so one family’s information is not reachable from another account.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a material way we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
